The Lafrowda Festival which takes place in St. Just every July was another success this year. Local artist Tom Henderson Smith held a benefit auction of one of his paintings to help fund future festivals and it was a great success. You can see a larger image of Tom's fantastic painting on his website and while you're there take a moment to browse through his gallery.

While I'm on the subject of local artists, Tom also maintains the website for Just Arts. Just Arts is a group of artists and crafts people and their website is a handy guide to much of the talented creative work taking place in the St. Just area. We're really pleased to be hosting it for them.

After feeding the soul with art, it's time to feed the body with some lovely food! We've already mentioned the new look for the Cook Book website. The Cook Book website also features regular newsletters by David James which include a mixture of Cook Book and local news along with photos taken from around the local coast and countryside.
