seven How long does it take to design a website?

It is not possible to give a definitive answer to this question as there are many factors involved. We are happy to work towards a particular date and will discuss any deadlines before starting work on the site. The design of a site falls into three basic stages:

  1. Design of home page. After discussing your requirements we will present you with three alternative home page designs. This design is used as the basis for the whole site. We aim to present you with the designs within the first week.
  2. Content. Once the look of the home page has been finalised we then put together the rest of the site with the content that you provide. This stage depends on how extensive the site is and how long it takes for you to get the content together. If you ask us to carry out any photographic work for you, this must also be factored into the time scale.
  3. Appraisal and final tweaks. Once the site has been assembled we will ask you to look carefully through it and ask for any final changes before going live.

The timely completion of the site is dependent on us working together. We ask for feedback throughout the whole process to ensure you are completely happy with the end product.
