Do you make your own craft items and would like to sell them directly on the web but don't know where to start? Or are you an artist that would like to develop an online portfolio of work? If so we have put together three web design packages specially designed to meet your needs and allow you to get up and running on the web.

The packages include the ingredients to help you get established as easily as possible, but nonetheless still include our full custom design process to ensure that your site reflects your individual style and shows your work off at its best (not a website template in sight!).

Home
This is the entry page of the website.
About
A page containing details about you, this can include whatever information you wish (background information, CV, details of exhibitions etc.).
Contact details
A page including your contact details. Can include an enquiry form if you wish.
Popup gallery
A gallery consisting of thumbnail images of your work, linking to larger images that appear in a separate 'popup' window.
Dynamic gallery
We use this term to describe a gallery of images of your work displayed in a dynamic manner. There is no fixed format for this so we will work with you to develop a gallery that displays your work at its best. This particular package includes 1 main gallery page leading to 3 categorised gallery pages.
Categories
Whether you want a gallery website or an online shop categorising the content will help your visitors find their way around. For example if you wish to sell your jewellery online you could have the main shop page with details of the shop and linking to three further pages containing bracelets, necklaces and earrings. If you require more than the three categories allowed for, you can ask for additional categories at £50 each.
Ecommerce
For this package we use the Paypal Shopping Cart, which is the shopping cart system provided by PayPal themselves. It does not provide the functionality of full-blown ecommerce software but instead offers a simple way for getting started with online selling without committing to a more sophisticated and therefore more costly solution. Search engine submissions and monitoring
With this service we register your website with the major search engines and monitor the site's ranking for six months to make sure it is listed and achieving good results. We will submit a monthly report to you showing you the results and, if necessary, suggesting ways in which we can work together to improve your site's performance.
Web hosting
In order for your website to be available on the web it needs to be placed on a web server that is constantly connected to the internet. This service is called web hosting. Whichever package you choose will include the cost of the first year's web hosting, after which you can continue hosting the site with us for £30 a year.
Unlimited updates
We are offering unlimited updates for 6 months after the launch of your website. This includes updating the content of the original pages but not adding entirely new pages. So for example if you want to add new images to your gallery just send them to us and we will do the work. After the 6 months has expired you can choose for us to continue the maintenance.
